At a special meeting on 1st July, PALS members agreed
to a proposal to merge with Terrence Higgins Trust, the UK's
biggest HIV/Aids and Sexual Health charity.

The meeting was attended by PALS members, volunteers and
service-users, and heard from Jackie Redding, the head of
Clinical Care and Service Development at THT, before voting
- unanimously - to merge with THT.

PALS has existed as an independent charity since 1988.
We now believe that being part of THT will better enable us
to support people living with HIV in Powys, access the
funding and resources we need, and to continue and develop
our educational and awareness-raising work with the people
of Powys.
